Jazz-Loving Cows Are The Best Kind Of Cows
Earlier this summer, we learned that beluga whales love mariachi music. In more animal/musical appreciation news, cows love New Orleans jazz.
In this video popularized on Reddit, American jazz combo New Hot Five play “When the Saints Go Marching In” for an all-bovine audience in Autrans, France. Clearly, the cows would love to be in that number, but these cattle will settle for standing by transfixed in awe. We hope New Hot Five left them some DVDs of “Treme” to further their jazz appreciation.
There must be a Gary Larson comic in here somewhere.

Hacked Twitter Account of the Day

Hacked Twitter Account of the Day: The Twitter account of NBC News was hijacked a few minutes ago by The Script Kiddies — the same hacker collective that took over a Fox News Twitter account back in July — and used to spread false information about an alleged attack on Ground Zero.
Both accounts have been suspended.
This latest incident further illustrates the perils of relying on Twitter as a news source. Before it became clear that something was amiss, the hoax was retweeted by hundreds of Twitter users, many of whom believed it was accurate information coming from a reliable source.

Crazy Ex of the Day
Crazy Ex of the Day: A 42-year-old Dutch woman has been charged with stalking after allegedly phoning her ex-boyfriend at least 65,000 times over the course of a single year.
The victim, a 62-year-old man from The Hague, complained to police last month, leading to the woman’s arrest and the seizing of several cell phones and computer from her Rotterdam home.
A spokeswoman for the prosecution said the woman told the judges at her preliminary hearing that she and the victim were still in a relationship, and she didn’t think the number of calls was excessive.
The man denied the woman’s claims, and she was ordered by the court to cease her attempts to contact him.

Crocodile found in swimming pool
A crocodile found in a public swimming pool in Australia has been returned to the wild.
Lifeguard Tim Dupe, 54, fished out the 50cm baby croc as oblivious swimmers lapped around it.
It is thought that the baby saltwater crocodile was put in the pool as a prank.
Ranger Tommy Nichols said it was the third crocodile to find its way into a public pool in the past couple of years.
He said: “They didn’t get there by themselves. It’s just a stupid thing to do.
“Certainly, a croc this size isn’t going to hurt anyone, but if it was bigger it could have ended badly.”
The crocodile has now been released by rangers at a secret location in the Darwin area.

Defendant urinated in judge’s bin

A teenage defendant angered a judge – by urinating into his waste paper bin in court.
Corey Webb, 17, relieving himself shortly after the jury had left the courtroom in Tyler, Texas, reports The Sun.
Local TV footage shows him smirking as he unbuckles his belt before walking over to the bin.
The clip also shows how the judge and a police officer look on in dismay.
The judge then told Webb: “I don’t know how you were raised, but peeing in a trash can in a state district courtroom is inappropriate behaviour.
“This is the second conversation we have had. There won’t be a third.”
The youngster was standing trial for shooting a police officer during an attempted escape from a youth detention centre.
He had already been told off for mumbling loudly during the lawyers’ arguments and asking the judge if he could fire his lawyer.
