Kings & Queen Of Comedy Asia 2 @ Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur City Centre, Kuala Lumpur

From the show that created a sensation in the entertainment scene in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, the “Kings and Queen of Comedy Asia” (K&Q) is back in the 18 & 19 November 2011 bringing the best Asian comedy talents from around the world.

The inaugural show in October 2010 was the first of its kind and a runaway success with a sold out shows in the Plenary Hall, KLCC and Singapore Conference Hall. The show was a full production with a launch and closing gambit, multimedia integration, high definition live feed, lights and sound extravaganza.

The event was a major success with highly positive feedback from both the public and media. The comedians thoroughly entertained the crowd and surprisingly, people had different takes on who they find funniest on the night – with all 5 comedians receiving almost equal kudos for the tickling their fancies.

This year, we are presenting 5 major comics – led by comedy superstar Sugar Sammy from Canada, the funniest Japanese American you will have ever known, Paul Ogata and Chinese-English speaking funny man Vivek Mahbubani from Hong Kong. Harith Iskander, our proudest comedy export who aims to go global in 2012 will be representing Malaysia and the hosted by none other than the divalicious Joanne Kam.

Dua Space Dance Theatre prourdly presents “DEN”

“DEN” is the annual creative production of Dua Space Dance Theatre. It is a story of a spacecraft, from a planet with exhausted resource and deathly environment, crashed on Earth during its journey of seeking survival at other planet. After landing on Earth, through the stories of the outer space creatures interacting with human and the new environment, the piece conveys the message that Earth is heading to resource depletion and environment destruction, and soon, unable for living. The choreographers, Anthony Meh and Aman Yap, hope to raise awareness regarding environmental issues among the audience.

15th National Lion Dance Championship 2011 @ Arena of Stars, Genting Highlands, Pahang

It is a yearly affair for the lion dancers to gather and compete in a test of skills, endurance and concentration. This year, Resorts World Genting is proud to host the 15th National Lion Dance Championship 2011!

Alan Tam Concert Live in Malaysia 2011 @ Putra Stadium Bukit Jalil, Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur

The evergreen Hong Kong Canto-pop singer of all time, Alan Tam is set to walk his fans down memory lane at his upcoming live music concert themed taking the stage of Putra Indoor Stadium on November 19th, 2011 at 8pm. This concert tour will showcase mostly the timeless hits from his 1980s and ‘90s albums. Among the popular hits which promise to appease fans include romantic ballads “Love in autumn”, “Illusion”, “Foggy Love”, “Flower in Water” and “Don’t say goodbye” etc. Organized by Star Planet in celebrating its 10th Anniversary, this concert extravaganza highlights on elaborate production and stage works. The production will invite an astonishing line-up of musicians and dancers from Beijing and Hong Kong, aims to leave behind a sensory and memorable concert experience for the audience.

Alan remains as famously loved by fans with him recorded eight awesome sell-out shows in Coliseum Hong Kong in July last year. The concert tour was appraised by many Hong Kong media as one of the “Most worth watching” concerts of the year. He diligently chose no less than 100 songs for the concerts, so that no two performances had identical set lists. The shows were up close and personal.
This time, the legendary superstar “who has stopped aging since he was 25” will be back in Malaysia to spend a night of music and fun with fans. In fact, it has been 5 years since he last held his solo concert in Kuala Lumpur. It will be a night rich of emotion, passion and sharing between Alan and fans.
Fans will be more dazzled when see the entire arena lit up in a vibrant swarm of glow sticks as the organizer will be giving out glow stick to everyone who attends the concert. Elton John in Malaysia

Great news for all K-Pop fans in Malaysia! The much-awaited Korean Boy Band < 2PM HANDS UP ASIA TOUR LIVE IN MALAYSIA 2011 > is slated to take the stage of Stadium Negara on November 25th, at 8.30pm. Acclaimed as one of the top Korean idol concerts, 2PM is set to wet the stage with their sweat as they will be showing off their highly energetic dances at their inaugural live music concert in Malaysia!
