How do you know if you suffer from water retention weight gain
Many females, especially mothers suffer from water retention after giving birth.
This condition happens when expanded fat cells in the body press against the blood vessels, causing water to be drained our through the vessel’s wall.
Coupled with the accumulation of toxin, this can cause cellulite’s.
There are 2 ways to rest on your own if you may suffer from water retention:
- Firmly press your finger onto your finger onto your skin.
If the white finger print on your skin takes a long time to return to normal colour or the swelling of the skin takes much longer time to return to its normal position, it’s likely you may have water retention in your body.
- Weigh yourself when you get up from the bed in the morning.
Then, right before you sleep at night, take another weight measurement.
If there is a difference of 1kg and above between the 2 weight measurements you have, you may suffer water retention too.
