The MAH Charity Jam Session is back for the 18th year to once again raise awareness through a unique combination of performances by top local acts, and delicious meals. Funds raised will be for the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) of University Malaya Medical Centre, Food Aid Foundation and the Malaysian Red Crescent Selangor State Society.
An initiative that was a result of teamwork and passion for nation, five friends, SS Rajaa, Sam Cheah, Charlil Michael, Alan Chong and Jason Souza pooled their resources and knowledge from the hospitality background to create an epic marathon jam session to showcase talents of local performers, food and drinks from the Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH).
"It has been a great journey running this event and having this incredible platform to fo good for our beneficiaries, for the promotion and exposure of our local music bands to perform and rock the crowd as well as showcase the culinary skills of our MAH members. Together we hope to make an impact for our society and to foster a greater sense of awareness for the less fortunate," said Mr. S.S Rajaa, the Organising Chairman of the MAH Charity Jam.
"We believe that hospitality should be accessible to everyone, and the MAH Charity Jam Session is one of the initiatives that have allowed us to reach the community at all levels. We welcome and urge all Malaysians to support us all in the name of fun and charity!" said Mr. Cheah Swee Hee, President of Malaysian Association of Hotels.
