Universal Music Group (UMG), the world leader in music-entertainment, today officially opened its regional headquarters for South East Asia in the heart of Singapore’s vibrant arts and heritage district, with a ceremony attended by members of UMG’s senior executive team.
The UMG office, situated in the Odeon Towers building, will operate as a central regional headquarters, providing support for UMG’s operations in Malaysia, Indonesia, Indochina, Thailand, the Philippines and Singapore, under the leadership of Calvin Wong, CEO, Universal Music South East Asia & SVP, Asia.
To mark the opening, Adam Granite, EVP, Market Development, Universal Music Group said, “It is an honor to be here in Singapore, alongside Calvin Wong, our CEO for South East Asia and with many of our senior-executives from around the world, to celebrate this strategic expansion of UMG’s operations across the region.”
