NIKE GRANDSTAND II.There’s no denying it; chunky soles and dad shoes are in. The Nike Air Monarch may find it’s status as a sneaker for middle aged man challenged with the arrival of the Grandstand II. An understated Swoosh logo on the lateral side, as well as “NIKE” text branding across the heel, round out the minimalistic sneaker. Draped in all white and hints of orange/green, there are no release dates or price for this pair yet but keep an eye out.
ADIDAS PROPHERE.Finally, adidas has designed a new shoe and it’s looking good. Dubbed the Prophere, the iconic three stripes have been super-sized in thickness and is where the kicks are laced. Other features include a sculpted midsole, a one-piece knit upper, and a leather heel cage. Other details include the strong color-blocked, glitched aesthetic and hints of red throughout. It’s already available at your local sneaker stores such as Crossover and Solewhat so don’t sleep.
GUCCI ACE ‘LAMB FUR’.If expensive, over-priced sneakers are your kind of thing, we got you covered. Gucci has been making a lot of noise and the Ace sneakers aren’t an exception. Decked in the usual looks of an Ace (white leather, blue/red contrasting stripes on the side, bee embroidery), this time they have added lamb fur to the ankle and heel tab . Just in time for the month, at least for you guys who live in a 4 season country. By the way, it’s real fur they are using and might be one of the last times they use real fur on their products. It’s available now for the cool price of $830 (cough).
