LG Display has been on a roll, and to add to its announcements of a 4K HDR projector and world’s first OLED 88-inch 8K TV, comes a 65-inch OLED TV that rolls up like a poster. The thin OLED screen rolls up and down like a projector screen and is currently being demonstrated at CES 2018‘s show floor. Once a button is pressed on the remote, the TV sinks enough to shift the display’s aspect ration from 16:9 to 21:9, eliminating black bars from your view. Pressing it again sinks the TV even further into the base of the box it stands on, leaving the top of it exposed, showing a screen with smart home info, music controls, and ambient updates. Although there’s no price, it appears the prototype introduced a couple of years ago is making progress and may eventually see a public rollout in the near future. Mr. Bathing Ape is leaning into the cool and casual vibes with its freshly-unveiled SS18 collection. The dapper diffusion line from BAPE is offering up a finely-detailed button up shirt (in military green and white), in addition to crewneck sweaters and caps available in monochromatic black and white. The collection’s subdued aesthetic makes for a calming departure away from any number of BAPE’s shark-themed apparel pieces, which can be, and understandably so, hard to pull off at times. NIKE AIR MAX 180 X COMME DES GARCONS.Looks like Nike is prepped for another strong start to 2018’s Air Max lineup with this collaboration with CDG. Released in a trio of 3 different colorways in a mainly pink color scheme, the trio is done up in colors of white, black and a different shade of pink respectively. Done up with nylon uppers, a back heel counter and of course with an Air Max unit, the trio will be available on February 1st at the price of $277.

NIKE AIR FORCE 1 & AIR JORDAN 1 “EQUALITY”.In honor of Martin Luther King Junior, Nike and Jordan Brand have reinterpreted 2 of their flagship models (Air Force 1 and Air Jordan 1) as a symbol of equality. Both models are done up in black and white colorways with both also having the word “EQUALITY” printed on the heels. Done up in premium leather construction; look out for these pairs to release on January 15th.

NEW BALANCE 991.5 X CONCEPTS “LAKE HAVASU”.Concepts has always come up with bangers in their collaborations with New Balance and this is no different. Featuring the 991.5 (Made in U.K.), the inspiration comes from the bizarre story of an American businessman relocating the London Bridge to Lake Havasu, Arizona, as a tourist attraction. Premium suede and nubuck make up the upper and accented by a number of reflective hits. A gum outsole in turn draws attention to the bottom of the sneaker, which arrives in a custom box, packaged with 3 different sets of laces and a Concepts lace lock. An online only release set at Janaury 19th for the price of $250.
