K'Sha

Touted at afoRadio as just about the youngest & hippest radio announcer at a tender age of 19 (when she started), this lass of Thai, Chinese and Indian descent considers herself a newbie on the radio airwaves. Niesha Kumar began as a ‘special segment host’ on various programs at RTM’s TraxxFM 90.3  back in 2011.  She then went on to take the lead as the host of ‘The Request Show’ a program where listeners would call in and chat her up, before requesting for their favourite songs.

When afoRadio came calling, she leaped at the opportunity to develop her own program; she decided to use her nick-name and called it Top 20 with K’Sha that spins top 20 hits of the week with a twist. When she’s not nit-picking her favourite songs (K-Pop included) for her listeners and fans, she wears the hat of an online journalist for aforadio.com, where she compiles interesting stories for the website and goes out on movies & music-based-assignments…much to the envy of the other radio DJ’s at afoRadio!!
